Rome (dpa-AFX) - Consumer price inflation in Italy accelerated in February to its highest level in five months, preliminary data from the national statistical office showed on Tuesday. Annual inflation rose to 1.6% in February from 1.0% in January, which had marked the slowest pace in 15 months. A similar rate was last recorded in October 2025.
