Romanian producer price inflation rises to 7.8%

Bucharest (dpa-AFX) - Romania's producer price inflation accelerated for a second consecutive month in January, data from the National Institute of Statistics showed on Tuesday. The producer price index rose 7.8% year on year in January, up from 5.8% in December. Prices have been increasing steadily since July.
