Justice Schimming-Chase sworn in as first female Supreme Court Judge

WINDHOEK, 02 MAR (NAMPA) – High Court Judge Esi Schimming-Chase was sworn in as a permanent Judge of the Supreme Court by Chief Justice Peter Shivute here on Monday.
Schimming-Chase joins the Supreme Court bench after serving as a High Court judge for the past five years, making her the first woman to be appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court in post-independence Namibia.
