OMUTHIYA, 03 MAR (NAMPA) – Street vendors in Omuthiya have failed to relocate to the town's new open market, with some saying they are reluctant to move because of the facility's design and location.
The Omuthiya Town Council issued a notice in December 2025 demanding that the vendors move before 09 January 2026 or face penalties, fines or confiscation of goods, as stipulated in the Council Tariff Structure.
