WINDHOEK, 13 MAY (NAMPA) A Gender-Based Violence against Children survey conducted in 2019 has found that 39.6 per cent of girls and 45 per cent of boys have experienced some form of childhood violence in Namibia.
This was revealed on Wednesday by Director of Child Welfare in the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, Helena Andjamba, during the Inter-Ministerial Dialogue to end Violence against Children and Youth in Namibia held in Windhoek.
