Mixed results for Namibia’s football teams at Region Five Games

WINDHOEK, 05 JUL (NAMPA) – The National Under-20 (U-20) women and men’s football teams had mixed results on the opening day of the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 Youth Games underway in Windhoek, Namibia.
The championships kicked off with games on Thursday, while the football matches, which are part of 12 sport codes, started on Friday at Hage Geingob Stadium and UNAM Stadium.
