'Mob justice' incident claims suspect's life near Oshakati

OSHAKATI, 23 FEB (NAMPA) – A 36-year-old man from Omaalala village in the Oshana Region died on the spot on Tuesday after a mob of angry residents allegedly attacked him for allegedly breaking into a residence at the Othingo village near Oshakati.
Confirming the alleged killing, Inspector Thomas Aiyambo of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol)'s Community Affairs Office in the region said the incident took place at around 00h00.
