UK wind-blade manufacturing jobs saved with £20m government grant

London (PA Media/dpa) - Hundreds of skilled jobs have been saved thanks to a partnership between the UK government and an onshore wind blade manufacturer. Ministers have confirmed a £20-million ($27.54-million) grant they say will safeguard 300 jobs at the Vestas factory in Newport on the Isle of Wight.
