Germany to delay tender for North Sea wind-farm sites

Berlin (dpa) - The German government is set to postpone the tender for two North Sea wind-farm sites planned for this year. The Cabinet has approved a draft bill to this effect, an Economy Ministry spokesman said in Berlin on Wednesday. A government spokesman pointed to challenges such as the delayed completion of converter platforms, which are being built near wind farms.
