Low borehole pressure threatens Ncamagoro gardens

NCAMAGORO, 03 OCT (NAMPA) – Low water pressure from shared boreholes is limiting water supply to gardens in the Ncamagoro Constituency of the Kavango West Region, putting crops at risk, gardeners have said.

At Gumi village, 18 young people involved in the Gumi Garden Project share a solar-powered borehole with residents and livestock. They said the borehole cannot fill the garden’s water tanks after livestock have been watered.
