Bank Windhoek retains 31.5% lending market share

WINDHOEK, 02 OCT (NAMPA) – Bank Windhoek held a 31.5% share of Namibia’s national lending market in 2026, according to Global Credit Rating (GCR), which has reaffirmed the bank’s credit ratings.
GCR maintained Bank Windhoek’s AA+(NA) long-term national scale issuer rating with a Stable Outlook and its A1+(NA) short-term issuer rating, the bank said in a media statement on Thursday.
