Muha calls for stronger oversight as National Council opens session

WINDHOEK, 17 AUG (NAMPA) - The National Council on Monday commenced its second ordinary session after recess, with Chairperson Lukas Sinimbo Muha calling for stronger oversight to ensure parliamentary recommendations are implemented by government agencies.
For the next two weeks, members will deliberate on the Mental Health Bill, reports of standing committees, inter-parliamentary organisations, as well as new motions from the floor.
