Berlin extends participation in UN Lebanon mission for final time

Berlin (dpa) - Germany's parliament on Thursday extended the country's naval mission off the Lebanese coast for a final time. A large majority of lawmakers backed the continued German participation in the UN peacekeeping mission UNIFIL, which is due to end at the close of the year.
