Dakar (dpa) - A fresh escalation is looming in the war in Sudan as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia prepares a major assault on the strategically important city of Al-Obeid, a spokesman for the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) told dpa on Thursday.  About half a million people are trapped in the city and have been suffering for weeks under near-daily drone attacks by the RSF, said NRC spokesman Elias Ata.
