Berlin (dpa) - Sales of convertibles in Germany continue to decline, with just 33,924 new registrations in 2025, down 17% from the year before, according to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). The 2024 figure had already marked a long-term low. Only one in 84 newly registered cars in Germany was a convertible. The decline likely reflects a shift in lifestyle and consumer preferences.
