US manufacturing activity expanded at a slower rate in February, survey data showed Monday, as growth in new orders and production cooled over the month. The Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) manufacturing index came in at 52.4 percent last month, down 0.2 percentage points from January's reading. But the figure, above the 50-percent mark separating growth from contraction, showed that the manufacturing sector remained in expansion overall.......
