25-kg tumor removed from 71-year-old patient in Romania

BUCHAREST, March 2 (Xinhua) -- A 25-kilogram tumor has been successfully removed from a 71-year-old patient at the Cluj-Napoca County Emergency Clinical Hospital in northwestern Romania, hospital officials said Monday. The lipomatous tumor, measuring about 40 centimeters in diameter, has occupied much of the patient's abdominal and pelvic cavities, according to a statement posted on the hospital's official Facebook page.
