Rubio Says Cuba Has No Functional Economy But Sees Chance for Change

WASHINGTON, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that Cuba has no functional economy but there is now an opportunity for change. "Now, for the first time in literally a decade, there is the opportunity that something could change [in Cuba] … that is a country that has been backwards. It has no functional economy," Rubio told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee​​​....
