U.S. South Carolina reports nearly 800 measles cases amid outbreak

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- A total of 789 measles cases have been reported in the U.S. state of South Carolina since October amid the ongoing outbreak, the state's Department of Public Health said Tuesday. At least 89 new measles cases have been confirmed in the state over the past five days. There are currently 557 people in quarantine and 20 in isolation, according to the department.
