Philippines revises GDP growth for Q3 2025 to 3.9 pct from 4 pct

MANILA, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Wednesday revised the third-quarter 2025 gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate to 3.9 percent from the preliminary estimate of 4.0 percent. The PSA cited the major contributors to the downward revision were electricity, steam, water and waste management, from 0.6 percent to -0.6 percent; real estate and ownership of dwellings, from 4.7 percent to 4.0 percent; and accom......
