Germany and Denmark cooperate over electricity hub in the Baltic

Hamburg (dpa) - Germany and Denmark are working together on an important energy project in the Baltic Sea. Germany's Economics and Energy Minister Katherina Reiche and her Danish counterpart Lars Aagaard reached an agreement on the "Bornholm Energy Island" at the North Sea Summit in Hamburg on Monday. An electricity hub is to be built on the Danish island of Bornholm, which will transmit offshore wind power from the Baltic Sea to both countries.......
