Durov Calls WhatsApp Unsafe, Cites Multiple Security Flaws

MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti) - Telegram founder Pavel Durov called WhatsApp on Monday (owned by Meta, which is banned in Russia for extremism) unsafe and pointed to numerous potential attack vectors in the messaging app. "You'd have to be braindead to believe WhatsApp is secure in 2026.
