Russian, Japanese Airlines Discuss Resuming Direct Flights - Deputy Foreign Minister

MOSCOW, October 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russian and Japanese airlines are discussing the resumption of direct flights, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said. "Discussions and consultations between the companies are ongoing, but the outcome depends on the Japanese government's stance. We have neither canceled nor banned Japanese carriers from flying to Russia; the decision came from Tokyo, not us," Rudenko told the Izvestia newspaper.......
