WINDHOEK, 21 SEP (NAMPA) – The Ministry of Health and Social Services on Monday inaugurated a new N$28 million Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Windhoek Central Hospital, aimed at improving the survival rate of critically ill children.
Speaking at the inauguration, Health and Social Services Minister Esperance Luvindao said the ministry aims to reduce the paediatric intensive care mortality rate to below 2.5 per cent.
