WINDHOEK, 29 JUL (NAMPA) – A 21-year-old man who admitted to killing his 17-year-old girlfriend, Sara Jonker, by strangling her during a drunken argument in 2023 was sentenced to an effective 15 years’ imprisonment on Wednesday.
Windhoek High Court Judge Claudia Claasen sentenced Johannes Bock to 18 years’ imprisonment for murder committed with dolus eventualis, read with the provisions of the Combating of Domestic Violence Act.
