MOSCOW, July 28 (RIA Novosti) - Italy has decided to request 14.9 billion euros ($16.9 billion) for defense spending through the European Union's Security Action for Europe (SAFE) mechanism, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said on Tuesday​​​.
