Oman Presents Iran With Proposal on Joint Management of Hormuz Strait - Reports

MOSCOW, July 28 (RIA Novosti) - Oman has presented Iran with a proposal to establish a joint mechanism for managing the Strait of Hormuz based on voluntary contributions, Reuters reported on Tuesday, citing a source in the Persian Gulf region. According to the proposal, Iran will not be the only one to control the transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, the news agency reported, adding that Oman's proposal enjoys support in the region....
