EU Council Extends Economic Sanctions Against Russia Until July 31, 2027

MOSCOW, June 25 (RIA Novosti) - The Council of the European Union agreed on Thursday to extend EU economic sanctions against Russia over the conflict in Ukraine for another year until July 31, 2027. "The Council renewed today the EU restrictive measures in view of the Russian Federation’s continuing actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine for a further 12 months, until 31 July 2027," the statement read.
