Yum! Brands to sell Pizza Hut chain in $2.7 billion deal

(PA Media/dpa) - US restaurant group Yum! Brands has agreed to sell Pizza Hut in a $2.7 billion deal. The move will see Yum sell the pizza chain excluding Chinese operations to private equity firm LongRange Capital for $1.5 billion. Yum said it will sell the Pizza Hut China business to Yum China in a $1.2 billion transaction.
