A Syrian migrant was jailed for life on Monday for attempted murder after seriously injuring four people in an Islamist-motivated knife attack outside a bar in western Germany. The 36-year-old, partially identified as Mahmoud M., was "driven by a radical jihadist mindset" when he launched the assault in May last year at the bar in Bielefeld, a Duesseldorf court ruled.
