CANCHANA, 16 APR (NAMPA) – Canchana village in the Kavango West Region has been without electricity and a reliable water supply since a Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (Nored) transformer failed on 31 March this year.
This situation has forced residents, including learners at Rainer Mungungu Combined School, to rely on unsafe water sources.
The school’s water supply depends on electricity to pump water to the premises.
