NDGA raises deposit guarantee coverage to N.dollars 50 000

WINDHOEK, 16 APR (NAMPA) – The Namibia Deposit Guarantee Authority (NDGA) has increased the deposit guarantee coverage limit to N.dollars 50 000 per depositor after its fund grew to N.dollars 40.1 million by the end of 2025.
This was announced on Thursday when the authority released its 2025 Annual Report, which outlines the performance of the Deposit Guarantee Scheme and the institution’s governance and operations during the year under review.
