Mariental Municipality receives 65 hectares of land from Lutheran Church

MARIENTAL, 15 April 2026- The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Republic of Namibia, donated 65 hectares of land to the Mariental Municipality on Wednesday. Receiving the donation from the ELCRN Bishop Abraham ||Kheibeb is the Mariental mayor Ethel Isaacks alongside with the Chairperson of the management committee Hermanus Isaak

MARIENTAL, 16 APR (NAMPA) – The Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (ELCRN), Abraham ||Kheibeb, on Wednesday handed over a letter of transfer to Mariental Mayor Ethel Isaacks, confirming the donation of 65 hectares of church-owned land to the Mariental Municipality.
The land, identified as Portion 5 of Farm Koichas No. 89, has been illegally occupied by residents since 2012.
