France industrial production rebounds on transport equipment surge

Paris (dpa-AFX) - France's industrial production rebounded in January, driven by a strong recovery in transport equipment output, the statistical office INSEE said on Thursday. Industrial production rose 0.5% month-on-month, offsetting a 0.5% decline in December. Economists had expected output to increase by 0.4%.
