Rome (dpa-AFX) - Italy's retail sales rose more than expected in January after declining in the previous month, the statistical office ISTAT reported on Thursday. The value of retail sales increased 0.6% month-on-month in January, reversing a 0.7% drop in December. Economists had expected a rebound of 0.2%.
