AG gives Fisheries Observer Fund adverse audit opinion for 2024, 2025

NKURENKURU, 05 MAR ( NAMPA) - Auditor-General (AG) Junias Kandjeke has rendered an adverse audit opinion on the Fisheries Observer Fund for the financial years ending 31 March 2024 and 2025.
The AG’s audit report, submitted to Parliament on Tuesday, shows that the fund’s financial statements do not accurately represent its financial position, performance or cash flows in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
