The German government and tour operators were rushing Tuesday to fly back thousands of tourists stranded in the war-torn Gulf region, many of them stuck on board cruise ships. Travellers from around the world have had their plans disrupted amid Iran's strikes on Gulf neighbours following US-Israeli attacks.
