Britain's economy is set to grow slower than expected this year but will likely to expand more than previously forecast in 2027 and 2028, finance minister Rachel Reeves said Tuesday. Gross domestic product is now projected to hit 1.1 percent in 2026, down from the previous estimate of 1.4 percent given in November, according to forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility announced in Reeves's fiscal update to parliament.
