Bank of Canada Maintains Overnight Rate at 2.25% - Press Release

WASHINGTON, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - The Bank of Canada (BoC) on Wednesday announced its decision to hold its overnight interest rate at 2.25%. "The Bank of Canada today held its target for the overnight rate at 2​​​.25%, with the Bank Rate at 2.5% and the deposit rate at 2.20%,"%," the BoC said in a press release.
