Sugar futures close lower

ZHENGZHOU, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Sugar futures closed lower Monday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active sugar contract for January 2026 delivery lost 2 yuan (about 28 U.S. cents) to close at 5,405 yuan per tonne.
