More Ships Expected to Transit Suez Canal Daily by End of 2025 – Canal Authority

CAIRO, November 26 (RIA Novosti) - The number of vessels passing through the Suez Canal daily is expected to reach 55 by the end of 2025, the head of the Suez Canal Authority, Osama Rabie, told RIA Novosti. "Today, around 40-42 ships transit the canal each day. We expect this to reach 55 by the end of the year," Rabie said​​​.
