Romanian extradited to Germany on child abuse charge

Bucharest (dpa) - A Romanian man who is alleged to have abused a young girl at a water park in southern Germany has been handed over to German authorities, police in the north-western Romanian city of city of Oradea told dpa on Friday. The handover took place on Thursday at Henri Coanda Airport in Bucharest, the police said. The man had been in custody in Oradea awaiting extradition.
