Alphabet reports Q2 revenue, net income increases

SAN FRANCISCO, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, reported second-quarter revenue of 96.4 billion U.S. dollars on Wednesday, up 14 percent year on year. Announcing its financial results for the quarter ending June 30, the company reported a net income of 28.2 billion dollars, or 2.31 dollars per diluted share, up from 23.6 billion dollars in the same period of 2024.
