WINDHOEK, 21 SEP (NAMPA) – Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila on Friday received a donation of 1 000 tonnes of rice from the Indian government.
The Namibian Defence Force’s August 26 Logistics wing also donated 750 (10kg) bags of maize worth N.dollars 50 000.
Speaking at the event, Kuugongelwa-Amadhila said the pledges made by the Indian government to support the drought relief programme in Namibia are well received.
