Case of man accused of rape in Rehoboth postponed till October

REHOBOTH, 12 SEP (NAMPA) - A 20-year-old man arrested on Saturday for the alleged rape of a 53-year-old woman made a brief second appearance in the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Borris Smith appeared before Magistrate Andre Matulich, after which his case was postponed until 03 October for him to acquire legal aid.
It was initially suspected that Smith and a younger woman conspired to lure the victim into a riverbed in Rehoboth’s Block G, where Smith is alleged to have raped her.
