AMRO slightly raises ASEAN+3 2027 growth forecast to 4.1 pct

SINGAPORE, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- The ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) on Monday raised its 2027 growth forecast for the ASEAN+3 region, comprising ASEAN member states plus China, Japan and South Korea, to 4.1 percent, up 0.1 percentage point from its previous projection, as stronger artificial intelligence (AI)-related exports and investment support economic activities.
