Navachab records highest gold output

WINDHOEK, 04 OCT (NAMPA) - Navachab Gold Mine produced more than 120 000 ounces of gold last year, equivalent to over 4 000 kilogrammes, in what Managing Director George Botshiwe described as the highest production in the mine’s history.
Botshiwe, in an interview with Nampa, said the mine had gradually increased its production over the years, from about 40 000 to 50 000 ounces annually when it started operating to more than 180 000 ounces current...
