SYDNEY, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- A man has been shot dead by police after allegedly aiming a rifle at officers following a car crash southwest of Sydney. The police force in the state of New South Wales said in a statement that officers were deployed to reports that a car had been driven into a tree near the small town of Rugby, 210 km southwest of Sydney, shortly before 3 p.m. on Sunday.
