Fugitive German wind energy con man caught in Dubai

Berlin (dpa) - Fugitive wind energy fraudster Hendrik Holt has been detained in Dubai, German prosecutors said on Wednesday. Holt remains in Dubai for now, German authorities said, adding that extradition documents would be submitted. Holt, who is originally from the German state of Lower Saxony, had been on the run since August 25, when he failed to return to a Berlin prison after being granted supervised release.
