Qatar Not to Build Gas Export Pipelines Bypassing Strait of Hormuz - Energy Ministry

DOHA, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - Qatar will not build gas pipelines to transport gas bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, as it is not economically feasible, State Minister of Energy Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said on Monday. "We have decided not to use pipelines as an alternative based on commercial and technical criteria," Al-Kaabi was quoted by state-owned company QatarEnergy as saying during the Qatar Economic Forum on the sidelines of the UN General......
